Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in Symfony Framework and PostgreSQL to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony Framework.
- Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Build reusable, efficient, and scalable backend components.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and project managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PHP development.
- Hands-on experience with Symfony Framework.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and coding standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
