The TATA TCS Biodiversity Park (Hub and Spoke) project focuses on conserving Rare, Endangered, and Threatened (RET) species and promoting Neglected and Underutilized Species (NUS) to enhance biodiversity and food security. Project adopts a Hub-and-Spokes model and activities will be implemented across four districts in North Kerala (Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur). The project integrates in-situ and ex-situ conservation, community participation, and capacity building for tribal youth and stakeholders. Expected outcomes include restoration of 250 acres, recovery of 100 RET species, and improved livelihoods for 1,000 tribal families through NUS-based value chains.
Role Summary:

Support research, documentation, seedling production and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys, species documentation, data collection, propagule collection

Undertake multiplication trials and mass production of seedlings

Assist in soil analysis, nursery trials, and biodiversity assessments

Support M&E tools, knowledge portal, and documentation

Contribute to reports, case studies, and publications.Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Investigator/ Coordinator from time to time
Qualification:
MSc in Botany / Environmental Science / Ecology
Experience:
Strong interest in research and fieldwork
Age Limit: 25- 35 Yrs
Period: Two Years
