Key Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Manipulation: Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform raw data from multiple relational databases.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Data Integrity: Monitor and audit data quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is highly preferred.
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience building user-friendly dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong mathematical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or A/B testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of data pipeline tools or basic ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
