Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in residential Cold-Formed
Steel (CFS) design. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to manage design projects for
international clients, primarily in the U.S. housing and light commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-
on experience in CFS structures, be proficient in relevant codes and software, and capable of leading a team of
engineers and drafters through all stages of the design process.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring design excellence, guiding junior engineers, and maintaining effective client
communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) residential buildings in accordance with
U.S. codes (e.g., AISI, ASCE 7, IBC).
- Independently manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with client
expectations.
- Review and approve design calculations, engineering drawings, and technical documents prepared by
junior engineers and drafters.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise junior team members to support technical growth and productivity.
- Coordinate with internal drafting teams and external stakeholders to resolve design challenges and
ensure constructability.
- Prepare design documentation, reports, technical narratives, and RFI responses as per project
requirements.
- Act as a technical liaison in client meetings, presentations, and design coordination sessions.
- Ensure compliance with internal QA/QC protocols, production standards, and design procedures at every
project stage.
- Provide innovative and efficient design solutions while optimizing material usage and construction
feasibility.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in structural engineering with a strong focus on Cold-Formed Steel design for
residential or light commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. structural codes and standards (AISI, ASCE, IBC, IRC) is mandatory.
- Proven experience working on U.S.-based residential projects and handling international client interactions.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and other structural software such as RISA, Revit, or Tekla Structures is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to take full ownership of projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence in presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
