We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Procurement with 3–4 years of experience to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, purchase order processing, and cost optimization, while ensuring timely procurement and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP systems.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through effective sourcing and negotiations.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Stores, and Quality teams to ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive cost savings.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
