Tortoise is a premium accessories manufacturer specializing in bags, wallets, pouches, travel accessories, and custom products for leading brands. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Checker to ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Conduct quality inspections of bags, wallets, pouches, and leather/faux leather accessories during and after production.
- Check products for stitching quality, finishing, dimensions, colour consistency, branding, hardware, and overall workmanship.
- Identify and report defects, damages, or non-conformities.
- Ensure products meet approved samples, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Monitor production processes and suggest corrective actions to reduce defects.
- Maintain quality inspection records and reports.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Perform final quality checks before packing and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in quality checking of bags, leather goods, luggage, wallets, accessories, garments, footwear, or related products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Understanding of stitching, material quality, finishing, and production processes.
- Ability to maintain inspection reports and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
