Day Mart Supermarket is looking for an experienced Store Supervisor to manage daily store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service. Candidates with prior experience in supermarket, hypermarket, or retail sales operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all sections
- Manage and guide floor staff, cashiers, and support staff
- Ensure proper product display, stock rotation, and shelf management
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team for replenishment
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure high service standards
- Oversee billing counters and ensure accurate cash handling
- Ensure adherence to company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist in achieving store targets
- Coordinate with management for promotions, offers, and store activities
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Senior Staff in a supermarket, hypermarket, or retail sales environment
- Good knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and customer service
- Basic computer knowledge (billing/POS systems preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per store requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mananthavady, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

- supermarket / hypermarket: 1 year (Preferred)
