We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our team in the Architecture & Planning industry. As an Interior Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from commercial spaces to residential properties, providing creative and innovative design solutions for our clients. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints
- Develop conceptual designs and space plans that align with client requirements and project objectives
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design proposals
- Select and source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that enhance the overall design concept
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of design plans
- Oversee the implementation of design projects, conducting site visits and providing guidance as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and design techniques to incorporate into projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Professional portfolio showcasing your past design projects
