We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, taxation, compliance, audits, and reporting while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. The role also involves providing financial guidance, tax planning support, risk analysis, and recommending preventive measures to strengthen financial controls.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Import-Export regulations and compliance under FEMA, GST, and Customs laws, along with hands-on experience in handling import/export documentation and related financial processes.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, budgeting, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Financial Management
- Maintain and manage a complete set of personal accounts.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, monthly and annual accounts, forecasts, and MIS reports.
- Reconcile debtors, creditors, credit card statements, and bank statements.
- Maintain stock statements, employee payouts, and rent invoicing.
- Monitor Forex exchange rates and coordinate booking of spot/future rates (USD & EURO).
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle end-to-end TDS compliance, including:
- TDS calculation and deposit
- Issuance of TDS certificates
- Filing TDS returns
- Preparation and verification of salary and non-salary TDS returns
- Reconciliation of TDS certificates under Section 194Q and reporting pending certificates
- Manage property tax compliance.
- File Income Tax Returns (ITR) for Individuals and HUFs.
- Handle GST compliance activities, including:
- GST adjustments for previous financial years
- GST audit
- Filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C
- Verification of import credits in GSTR-2B
- Calculate and file advance tax for Individuals and HUFs.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and MSME Form 1 regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal tax laws and regulations.
Audit & Risk Management
- Conduct stock audits and statutory audits.
- Perform financial audits, identify risks, and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to resolve financial irregularities.
- Identify and resolve tax-related issues and discrepancies.
- Suggest and implement measures to prevent fraudulent activities.
Import-Export & Banking Operations
- Manage import-export documentation and compliance under FEMA, GST, and Customs laws.
- Handle online submission of BOE (Bill of Entry).
- Coordinate documentation and processes related to bank renewals.
Insurance & Coordination
- Handle various insurance policies including:
- Inventory insurance
- Trade credit insurance
- Marine insurance
- Vehicle insurance
- Employee/Team insurance
- Coordinate with the insurance team for debt payment claims.
Team Management
- Oversee the performance of the accounting team and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- In-depth understanding of taxation, compliance, and financial regulations.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, tax planning, and financial advisory.
- Experience in Import-Export compliance and documentation preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
