Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer to develop 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and production-ready documentation for metal fabrication, modular furniture, retail fixtures, signage, and interior fit-out products. The candidate will work closely with production, projects, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop 3D models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks.
· Prepare detailed manufacturing and shop drawings.
· Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and cutting lists.
· Convert concept sketches and site measurements into production drawings.
· Design sheet metal, fabricated steel, wood, acrylic, and aluminium components.
· Coordinate with production and installation teams for design feasibility.
· Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
· Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
· Ensure designs comply with quality and manufacturing standards.
· Support prototype development and production optimization.
Required Skills
· Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD.
· Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication drawings.
· Understanding of manufacturing processes.
· Ability to create exploded assemblies and production drawings.
· Knowledge of GD&T and engineering tolerances.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for BOM preparation.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in retail fixtures, modular furniture, or interior fit-outs.
· Knowledge of CNC machining, laser cutting, bending, and welding.
· Experience with rendering software such as KeyShot or SolidWorks Visualize.
· Familiarity with ERP systems.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
