Job Summary
Recruza Alliance is looking for an experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager to manage the overall operations of an automotive service workshop in Bareilly. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for workshop productivity, service quality, customer satisfaction, team management, revenue generation, and ensuring that all workshop activities are completed efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate should have strong automotive technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience managing workshop operations in a dealership, service center, or automobile repair facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the automotive workshop.
- Plan and monitor workshop workflow to ensure timely completion of service and repair jobs.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate technicians, service advisors, and workshop support staff.
- Allocate jobs to technicians according to their skills, workload, and job requirements.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to manufacturer and company standards.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors to understand customer requirements and resolve technical concerns.
- Inspect completed repair and service jobs to ensure quality before vehicle delivery.
- Handle complex technical issues and customer escalations effectively.
- Monitor workshop revenue, labor sales, parts usage, and overall profitability.
- Control workshop expenses and minimize unnecessary rework and wastage.
- Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, spare parts, and workshop resources.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with the parts team to ensure timely availability of required components.
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures, company policies, and applicable automotive standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, productivity, quality, and workshop performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
- Ensure the workshop remains clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a simple Bachelors can be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive service/workshop operations.
- Prior experience as a Workshop Manager, Workshop In-charge, Service Manager, Service professional is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and workshop processes.
- Proven experience in managing technicians and workshop teams.
- Strong understanding of workshop KPIs, productivity, turnaround time, and service quality.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented approach with strong escalation-handling abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with workshop/service management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve operational and business targets.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: 10,000- 15,000 based on experience and qualification.
