n8n Automation Specialist / Workflow Automation Developer
About the Role
We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented n8n Automation Specialist / Workflow Automation Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, managing, and troubleshooting n8n workflows and a strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data automation, and integrations. You will be responsible for creating reliable automations that reduce manual work and improve our day-to-day business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using n8n
- Connect and integrate different applications, APIs, databases, and business tools
- Work with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, HTTP requests, and authentication
- Troubleshoot failed workflows and identify the root cause of automation issues
- Build workflows involving data collection, processing, transformation, and distribution
- Integrate tools such as CRMs, Google Workspace, databases, communication platforms, AI tools, and other SaaS applications
- Monitor existing workflows and ensure they are reliable and scalable
- Create documentation for workflows and automation processes
- Work with the team to identify repetitive manual processes that can be automated
- Continuously improve existing workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Practical experience working with n8n
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, HTTP requests, and JSON
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
- Understanding of databases and SQL is an advantage
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into functional automation workflows
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following will be a strong advantage:
- OpenAI / AI APIs and LLM integrations
- Google Sheets / Google Drive / Gmail APIs
- WhatsApp or other messaging APIs
- CRM integrations
- PostgreSQL / MySQL
- JavaScript
- Python
- Webhooks and third-party API integrations
- Docker and self-hosted n8n
- Git/GitHub
- Cloud platforms
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who doesn’t just know how to follow tutorials, but can think through an automation from start to finish.
You should be comfortable taking a requirement such as “When X happens, collect this information, process it, send it to Y, and notify Z if something goes wrong” and independently turning that requirement into a reliable n8n workflow.
You should also be comfortable researching documentation, learning new tools, and figuring out integrations when there isn’t a ready-made solution.
