Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spoken English Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for the English language while fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a sense of community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
Requirements
- A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the English language curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Experience working with diverse student populations is advantageous.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
