- Design & Project Oversight: Drive the design process, ensuring all products meet technical standards, quality requirements, and budget targets.
- Product Development Strategy: Collaborate with product managers to define requirements, oversee R&D, and implement design innovations.
- Technical Guidance & Review: Provide hands-on expertise, conduct design reviews, and ensure accuracy in CAD models, simulations, and documentation.
- Process Improvement: Optimize design workflows, improve CAD standards, and implement Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience (usually 5-10+ years) in design engineering, including previous leadership or management roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in 2D/3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with DFMEA, FMEA, GD&T, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining).Medical Equipment manufacturing is add advantage
