Role Summary:
The Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and converting admission enquiries into enrolments while creating a positive experience for prospective families.
The role involves counselling parents, conducting campus tours, managing the admissions process, maintaining enquiry records, and serving as an ambassador for the school’s vision and values.
Key Responsibilities
– Admissions & Enquiry Management
– Handle all admission enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, website forms, and social media platforms.
– Counsel prospective parents regarding the school’s curriculum, academic programmes, co-curricular activities, facilities, and admission procedures.
– Conduct engaging and informative campus tours for prospective families.
– Follow up regularly with prospective parents to maximise admissions conversions.
– Assist parents through the admission and onboarding process.
Parent Relationship Management
– Build strong relationships with prospective and existing parents.
– Address queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
– Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for every family interacting with the school.
– Coordinate admission-related meetings and parent interactions.
– Admissions Process & Documentation
Manage application forms, admission records, and student documentation.
– Verify admission documents and ensure compliance with school policies.
Maintain accurate enquiry and admissions databases.
– Generate periodic admissions and conversion reports.
– Marketing & Outreach Support
Support admission campaigns, open houses, school events, and parent orientation programmes.
– Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the school’s achievements and programmes.
– Represent the school at exhibitions, community events, and outreach activities when required.
- Assist in implementing referral and parent ambassador programmes.
– Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain admissions MIS and CRM systems.
– Track enquiry-to-admission conversion rates.
– Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admissions reports.
– Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Degree or certification in Marketing, Communication, Education, or Business Administration is an advantage.
Experience
– 2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, customer relationship management, hospitality, education, or sales.
– Experience in a school environment preferred.
