JOB DESCRIPTION :
JOB TITLE: Mechanical Assembler/Technician
Roles & Responsibilites:
- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines.
- Read and understand assembly drawings and BOMs.
- Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, tapping, and minor fabrication work.
- Install bearings, shafts, couplings, gearboxes, motors, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and torque tools safely.
- Check dimensions and maintain assembly quality standards.
- Identify assembly issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Assist in machine testing, trial runs, and commissioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
Qualification:
ITI, Diploma-mechanical, BE-mechanical
