Due to our continued success in securing large-scale and complex projects, we are now looking for an experienced Senior HVAC 3D Designer to join our growing Bangalore office.

- Coordinating with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and hours involved.
-
Engaging in detailed HVAC design of ductwork for Cleanrooms and Laboratories, encompassing HVAC equipment modeling of Air Handling Units, Exhaust fans, pressure control devices, reheat coils, balancing dampers, fire dampers, and more.

Utilizing both 2D AUTOCAD and REVIT MEP 3D packages, with collaboration among multiple users.

Leading Design reviews, coordinating with stakeholders to close the actions points
-
Checking of 3D design package and 2D design drawings.

Following PM Group Quality standards and procedures
-
Experience of working and being proactive within a multi-discipline design team, demonstrating technical, coordination and detailing skills.

Design and Co-Ordination of Building Services Systems in accordance with International standards and current best industry practice.
-
Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings.
-
Provide technical support and assistance to Engineers, incorporating comments to design as required.
-
Preparation of production information drawings in Revit & AutoCAD for Detail Design meeting all project schedule/deliverable dates.

Implementing PM Group Quality & CAD Revit standards
-
Develop plantroom equipment arrangements for HVAC and piped utilities based on equipment selections and schematic design.

Develop duct/pipe services sizing and distribution layouts based on equipment selections and schematic design.
-
Feed development of layout design back into the schematics.

Develop a clash free design resolving clashes as required with other teams, disciplines and the clash coordinator.

The ability to manage/mentor other Building Services Revit designers on a project.

The ability to run model reviews for the project teams as required.

Experience with the layout design of the following typical systems ,

HVAC inc Fresh, Supply, Returnx Exhuast Air ductwork and components.

Specific/Process Exhausts, Fumecupboards, Nederman Arms etc.

Chilled Water
-
Heating Water
-
Steam and Condensate
-
DX Split Systems
-
Compressed Air
-
Domestic Water Services and Drainage

We welcome candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
-
A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-
Over 10 years of experience with an EPC firm, specializing in HVAC ductwork and pipework design.
-
Extensive detailed design experience in both 2D and 3D of ductwork for Cleanrooms and Laboratories, involving HVAC equipment modeling of Air Handling Units, Exhaust fans, pressure control devices, reheat coils, balancing dampers, fire dampers, and related components.
-
The ability to coordinate effectively with other designers, including those in Architecture, Structural, Electrical, and process piping disciplines.
-
Additional design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is advantageous.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
