We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in optimizing procurement processes and achieving significant cost savings.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company objectives and drive cost efficiencies.
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including market research, vendor identification, request for proposal (RFP) management, and vendor selection.
- Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure high-quality goods and services at the best possible value.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular business reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure service levels and quality standards are met.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
- Manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, and mitigating potential risks.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations, engineering) to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of required materials and services.
- Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a high-performing environment.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry best practices, and new technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to ethical standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics to senior management.
