Key Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicle packaging activities and finalize packaging concepts in alignment with stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and present technical topics in management forums
- Collaborate with DST, DBBK, and other teams to clarify concerns and ensure timely resolution
- Lead integration activities across domains such as Styling, Design, CAE, CAX, and Manufacturing
- Drive competency development through collaboration with BTVs, CAx, PDM, and MO engineers
- Take ownership of specific packaging areas and ensure end-to-end delivery excellence
- Propose and implement innovative ideas, tools, and process improvements for packaging
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle packaging and overall vehicle development
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, subsystems, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes and vehicle regulations/homologation
- Hands-on experience with PDM/PLM tools, DMU maintenance, and virtual reality environments
- Expertise in vehicle bill of materials (BOM), configurations, and engineering change workflows
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in packaging and interference study of complete vehicle
