1. Plan for yearly budget for consumables, imported items, handling budget. Monitor budget utilization.
2. Monitor stores activity, stores consumption, inventory variance.
3. Prepare production plan and monitor inventory.
4. Cost reduction initiatives.
5. Schedule to suppliers and monitoring delivery performance. Quality ranking.
Graduation (With Specialization): Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.): SAP Based applications.
Job Responsibilities 1. Stores receipt of material and issuance. Inventory variance.
2. Supplier scheduling. Quality and delivery monitoring.
3. Budget planning and control.
4. PO Release, Material Receipt, Payment. End to end monitoring.
5. New supplier development, alternate source development, localization.
6. Cost reduction initiatives.
7. Production planning and control. Inventory variance. Child part monitoring.
8. Stores layout, 1S/ 2S, Inventory control.
9. Coordination with Production, Die Maintenance and Quality for smooth functioning.
Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:
- Sound knowledge of SAP Systems, Procurement planning, Budget handling
- Hands on experience in stores activities, inventory control, scheduling
- Work experience in 4W Die Casting plant.
- Expertise in Production, Procurement planning and control
- Ability to do 1S/2S, PDCA, 7 QC Tools is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS Power Point
