Assistant Manager, Operations – Engagement
About the Role
Purpose
Support the delivery of a best-in-class Deloitte Global talent experience by providing operational, financial, and program management support across the Engagement Center of Excellence (CoE). This role helps ensure programs, processes, and team operations run efficiently and effectively while enabling successful execution of Engagement initiatives.
Mandate
Provide day-to-day operational support for Engagement CoE activities, including financial administration, project coordination, process management, event logistics, stakeholder support, and team operations.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Center of Excellence (90%)
Financial Management & Administration
- Support budget planning, tracking, and reporting across the Engagement portfolio, including ConnecteD programming and headcount reporting.
- Maintain financial trackers, prepare routine reports, and assist with budget analysis.
- Liaise with finance teams and Engagement colleagues to ensure adherence to financial processes and policies.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and support invoice processing and spend tracking.
- Assist with fiscal year planning, forecasting, documentation, and year-end activities.
Program Operations & Coordination
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Engagement programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones and action items, and support delivery of key program outcomes.
- Coordinate operational requirements for program launches, events, and ongoing initiatives.
- Maintain team calendars, shared inboxes, ServiceNow requests, and other operational tools.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, communications, scheduling, and stakeholder follow-ups.
Process & Resource Management
- Document, maintain, and update operational processes, templates, toolkits, guidebooks, and team resources.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies and opportunities for standardization.
- Organize and maintain team files, collaboration sites, and shared resources.
- Support onboarding for new team members by introducing team processes, tools, and ways of working.
Team & Stakeholder Support
- Provide operational support across Engagement initiatives including ConnecteD, Global Neighborhoods, People Councils, DG2, Listening, Sustainability, Societal Impact, Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Culture programs.
- Respond to and triage stakeholder requests, escalating inquiries as appropriate.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, toolkits, reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Support and manage logistics for Engagement initiatives, events, calendar, triage stakeholder (C&P inbox and service now tickets)
- Contribute to team activities and support collaboration across Engagement CoEs.
USI Talent Experience & Engagement (10%)
- Provide operational and logistical support for Global Neighborhood and other USI engagement initiatives.
- Support event planning, budget tracking, communications, and program administration.
- Assist with the coordination of leadership visits and local delivery of global engagement programs.
- Maintain relationships with USI stakeholders to support effective implementation of Engagement initiatives.

Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Experience maintaining project plans, collaboration sites, shared resources, and reporting tools.
- Strong data management, reporting, and administrative skills.
Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management, Business Operations, or related certifications are considered an asset.
- 6+ years of experience in operations, program coordination, employee engagement, HR, or a related field.
- Experience supporting projects, events, budgets, or operational processes.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Experience supporting global teams and virtual collaboration is an asset.
