Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical BIM 3D modelling in REVIT software based on project requirements and Client-provided databases / library of equipment families.
- Develop REVIT 3D model of cable routing systems such as cable trays, cable ladders, conduits and underground cable routing in cable trenches, cable ducts, cable tray supports and associated components.
- Develop REVIT 3D model of electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, switchgear panels, lighting & small power distribution boards (DB), light fixtures, street lights, high-mast lights, junction boxes (JB), Local control stations (LCS), electrical switches and power sockets.
- Produce construction drawings (plans, sections, details) extracted from the 3D model.
- Generate and maintain construction MTOs from the model.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for cable trays, supports, conduits, brackets, bolts, washers, and other fixings, including catalogues and manufacturer drawings.
- Support clash identification and resolution with Civil, Piping and I&C models.
- Apply drafting standards, naming conventions and quality requirements.
- Maintain model integrity, revision control and consistency between 3D and 2D outputs.
- Support model reviews and respond to construction queries.
- Participate in BIM clash analysis meetings and provide outputs.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical / Design / Drafting (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in REVIT 3D modelling for electrical substations / power plants / industrial process plant EPC projects.
- Proven expertise in REVIT 3D Electrical modelling in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong knowledge of cable tray routing, supports, constructability practices and drawing production.
