Accounts Manager
Role Summary
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and budgeting. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely statutory filings, efficient cash flow management, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations while supporting management with financial insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting principles.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions and ledger management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor vendor payments and customer collections.
- Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.
- Manage outstanding receivables and payment schedules.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain compliance with Companies Act and other applicable laws.
- Handle statutory audits and internal audits.
Payroll & Banking
- Verify payroll processing and salary disbursement.
- Manage banking transactions, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate working capital.
Budgeting & MIS
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor departmental expenditures.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-control measures.
- Support management with financial planning and forecasting.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Purchase, HR, and Project teams for financial documentation.
- Ensure timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Assist management during financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
- MBA (Finance) / M.Com / CA (Inter) preferred
- 6–10 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
