Roles & Responsibilities for Menu team
1. Merchant Onboarding & Menu Setup
- Receive onboarding details from Sales/Onboarding Team
- Collect menu, pricing, modifiers, combo, allergy, and operational details
- Configure menus for POS, Website, Mobile App and Kiosk
- Set up categories, modifiers, add-ons, combos, taxes, and availability
2. Platform Verification & Automation
- Verify whether merchant already exists on:
- Just Eat
- Uber Eats
- Deliveroo
- Other platforms
- Compare existing marketplace menu with merchant menu
- Proceed with automation/import process if menu structure is similar
- Validate and correct imported menu data
3. Menu Optimization & Visual Management
- Organize menus for better customer experience
- Recommend upselling, combo offers, and featured items
- Coordinate with Design Team for:
- Item images
- Banner uploads
- Promotional visuals
- Weekly Facebook/Instagram posters
4. POS & Operational Configuration
- Configure:
- Printer/ KDS routing
- Delivery & collection timings
- Service availability
- Ensure smooth operational workflow
5. Menu Testing & QA
- Test pricing, Spelling, modifiers, taxes, combos, printers, and order flow
- Ensure no duplicate or missing items
- Verify menu accuracy before go-live
6. Merchant Coordination & Approval
- Coordinate with merchants throughout onboarding
- Follow up for pending details and approvals
- Share previews and complete required corrections before go-live
7. Go-Live Support & Order Monitoring
- Monitor live online orders during working hour
- Check for:
- Delayed orders
- Long waiting orders
- Call merchants immediately if orders are pending for long time
- Coordinate with Support Team for quick issue resolution
8. Email Marketing & FB poster uploding weekly.
- Coordinate weekly email promotions for merchants
- Support promotional campaigns and offer updates
- Ensure correct links, branding, and offer visibility
9. Basic Technical & Installation Knowledge
- Maintain basic knowledge of:
- POS setup
- Printer setup
- KDS setup
- Online ordering setup
- Basic troubleshooting
- Assist merchants remotely for basic operational support
10. Internal Team Coordination
Coordinate with:
- Onboarding Team
- Design Team
- Marketing Team
- Technical Support Team
- Installation Team
- Accounts Team
