Mechanical Site Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to oversee and support mechanical operations at our wastewater treatment plant. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of mechanical equipment used in wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment at the plant.
- Monitor the performance of pumps, blowers, motors, valves, pipelines, agitators, and other mechanical systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate with plant operators, technicians, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on equipment performance and repairs.
- Ensure all mechanical work is carried out in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the commissioning and execution of new wastewater treatment projects.
- Assist in improving plant efficiency and reducing equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in wastewater treatment, water treatment, EPC, or industrial plant operations preferred.
- Knowledge of pumps, blowers, piping systems, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at the plant/project site.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
