Area Sales Manager – Insurance & Loans
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations for insurance and loan products within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing sales teams, developing channel partners, and achieving revenue targets through effective customer acquisition and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve insurance and loan business targets.
- Manage and motivate sales executives, agents, and channel partners across the assigned area.
- Generate leads for insurance products and loan services including personal loans, business loans, home loans, and vehicle loans.
- Build strong relationships with customers, financial institutions, and business partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Conduct field visits, client meetings, and sales reviews regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to improve productivity.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in insurance, banking, NBFC, or loan sales.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and retail/corporate loans.
- Proven experience in team handling and target achievement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
