2D Interior DesignerJob Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D drawings, space plans, and technical layouts for residential, commercial, and hospitality interior projects. The candidate should possess strong design visualization skills, technical drafting expertise, and the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing interior designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D interior layouts, floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, and working drawings.
- Develop space planning solutions that optimize functionality and aesthetics.
- Create technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, vendors, and site teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Modify and update drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Prepare presentation drawings and design documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building standards, and company guidelines.
- Assist in material selection, furniture layouts, and interior design concepts.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in interior design drafting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong understanding of space planning, construction drawings, and interior detailing.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of furniture design and interior materials.
- Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with residential and commercial interior projects.
