Role Summary
The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, quantity estimation, cost monitoring, billing verification, contract administration, and commercial coordination to ensure projects are completed within the approved timelines and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
KRA: Task / Activities
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, baseline programmes, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, and Site teams for timely execution of planned activities.
- Review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and provide planning support based on design revisions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, dashboards, and MIS reports.
- Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources for optimum utilization.
- Analyze project delays, productivity, and risks, and recommend recovery plans to minimize schedule slippages.
- Maintain planning documentation and ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
- Support project forecasting, resource planning, billing coordination, and project completion activities.
- Coordinate with Quantity Surveying and billing status, and project planning support.
KPI: Performance Metrics
- Achievement of project milestones as per approved schedule.
- Schedule variance within acceptable limits.
- Accuracy and timely submission of progress reports and MIS.
- Resource utilization efficiency.
- Reduction in project delays through effective planning and recovery actions.
- Timely completion of look-ahead schedules and project forecasts.
- Compliance with contractual planning requirements.
- Quality of planning documentation and reporting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
