DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF NURSING INCHARGE
The following will be the duties and responsibilities of Nursing In charge:
As a charge nurse my duties basically include:
1. Coordinating staffing for present shift and next shift - determinizing staffing needs.
2. Determining patient need.
3. Making duty roster.
4. Maintain patient records.
5. Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.
6.Admission and discharge of the patients.
7.To maintain the personal hygiene of the patients, including bathing, care of mouth, back, nails, hair etc.
8.Care of the dying and dead.
9.Administration of medicine and injections to the patients.
10.Attends Doctor’s round and Matron and Assistant Matron’s Clinical rounds.
11. Checks and caries out and delegates Doctor’s instruction and order after round.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
