Barista Job Description
A Barista prepares and serves coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service in cafés, coffee shops, and restaurants.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Take customer orders and handle billing/cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines, counters, and seating areas.
- Ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards.
- Recommend menu items and answer customer questions.
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Handle customer complaints politely and professionally.
- Work with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Open or close the café according to shift requirements.

Qualifications

Salary (India – Approx.)
- Entry-level: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month
