About the Role
Tea Linkers (Bansal Tea) is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. We are preferably looking for candidates with prior experience working in a CA Firm, who possess strong accounting knowledge, statutory compliance expertise, and the ability to manage financial records with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and review GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance.
- Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and company policies.
- Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Taxation.
- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Analysis).
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime/ERP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience is mandatory.
- Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm will be given preference.
- Experience in audit, taxation, and financial reporting will be an added advantage.
