Job Summary :
We are seeking a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medications, provide appropriate pharmaceutical advice to patients, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy and healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of medicines, excellent communication skills, and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions for appropriate drug, dosage, interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, precautions, and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medicines, stock, and patient information.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
- Check medication expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related matters.
- Identify and report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and other safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality-control activities.
- Provide excellent customer/patient service and respond to medication-related queries.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by management.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
