Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Deputy Secretary to support the overall functioning of the organization by managing member relations, government coordination, events, sponsorships, media interactions, and industry outreach activities. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent networking abilities, and relevant experience in a chamber of commerce, industry association, NGO, media organization, or trade association.
Qualification:
- Graduate degree from a reputed college/university.
- Candidates with correspondence or distance learning qualifications will not be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in any of the following:
- Chamber of Commerce
- Trade/Industry Associations
- NGOs
- Media Organizations
- Business Forums or similar organizations
Key Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with government officials, industry members, media, and stakeholders.
- Good event management and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate industry events, conferences, seminars, and meetings.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and maintain relationships with sponsors.
- Identify and onboard new members while expanding the organization’s membership base.
- Interact with members, non-members, media representatives, government bodies, and other chambers/associations as required.
- Attend meetings with government departments and represent the organization professionally.
- Ensure timely renewal of memberships and maintain strong member engagement.
- Collect and monitor government notifications, policies, and updates, and ensure awareness among members through:
- Seminars
- Emails
- WhatsApp communication
- Other digital platforms
- Draft press releases, official communications, and industry updates.
- Prepare representations, letters, and drafts for ministries and government departments.
- Coordinate with print and electronic media for coverage and organizational communication.
- Conduct outreach activities through emails, calls, WhatsApp, and SMS to prospective companies/industries for membership acquisition.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with potential members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with members, non-members, companies, government officials, sponsors, and other external partners.
- Travel within Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, and other locations as required for meetings and organizational activities.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
