Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will contribute to the stability and efficiency of treasury and financial applications by supporting daily operations and assisting in issue resolution. This role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and a willingness to learn, while building domain knowledge and technical expertise. You will play an important role in ensuring reliable system performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide support by monitoring applications and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Work on tickets using ITAM or similar tools, ensuring accurate tracking and closure.
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members or the Team Lead when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain system stability and operational efficiency.
- Be available across flexible time slots to support business continuity.
- Assist in identifying recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Support cross functional communication to ensure smooth coordination during incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Apply domain knowledge to understand business processes and provide effective support.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Foundational expertise in Treasury Management Systems, with exposure to Kyriba preferred.
- Domain knowledge in finance or treasury operations to contextualize support activities in KYRIBA application.
- Familiarity with ITAM or similar ticketing tools for incident and request management.
- Experience in production support within related domains such as ERP or banking systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues and provide first level resolution.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling operational tasks.
- Flexibility to work in varied time slots and adapt to dynamic support requirements.
- Good communication skills to interact with business users and escalate issues effectively.
- Collaborative mindset to work under the Team Lead and contribute to team success.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury and Risk Management .
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
