Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CATIA Plastic Design Engineer with expertise in Automotive Interior and Exterior Trim Design. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of plastic product development, injection-moulded component design, tooling feasibility, and CATIA V5.
Key Responsibilities
- · Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- · Perform B-Surface development and Class-A integration.
- · Design plastic features such as ribs, bosses, dog houses, snap-fits, heat stakes, and locators.
- · Conduct draft analysis, thickness analysis, and tooling feasibility reviews.
- · Perform DFM/DFA activities and support product development from concept to production.
- · Conduct packaging studies, DMU checks, and gap & flush analysis.
- · Coordinate with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- · Participate in customer design reviews and engineering change management.

Qualification
· BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
