About the Role
Mindware is looking for a Hardware Engineer to work on the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, repair, and maintenance of Barcode Printers and related hardware equipment.
Freshers with basic hardware knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of barcode printers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot barcode printer hardware issues.
- Identify faults in printheads, sensors, motors, rollers, gears, belts, and other components.
- Replace damaged or defective hardware components.
- Troubleshoot print quality, label feeding, ribbon movement, calibration, and printing issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of barcode printers.
- Configure printer drivers, settings, media, ribbons, and calibration.
- Troubleshoot USB, LAN, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity issues.
- Test printers after repair and ensure proper functioning.
- Provide technical support and resolve customer hardware issues.
- Maintain service and repair records.
- Assist senior engineers in servicing and repairing barcode printers.
- Learn and develop expertise in barcode printer hardware and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
- Basic understanding of electronic components.
- Interest in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Basic knowledge of printers and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of USB, LAN, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new hardware technologies.
- Good communication skills.
Eligibility
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates should have basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, or a related field will be preferred.
- Candidates with a basic technical understanding and willingness to learn can also apply.
- 0–3 years of experience can be considered.
- Comfortable working from the office.
Preferred Experience
Experience in printer servicing, barcode printers, electronics repair, POS hardware, or IT hardware will be an advantage, but it is not mandatory for freshers.
