Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through the development of comprehensive test plans. This position collaborates closely with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements and strategic objectives. The Senior Test Lead is responsible for enhancing testing methodologies and driving best practices that significantly improve testing efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Lead and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and API testing for Salesforce Sales Cloud applications
Review functional and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage and end-to-end traceability
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
Validate data integrations from third-party systems into Salesforce, including ETL processes and Informatica-to-Salesforce data flows
Coordinate daily QE activities with offshore QA teams, including task assignments, peer reviews, and status reporting
Partner with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects efficiently across applications and integrations
Participate actively in Agile Methodologies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Ensure That Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures Are Established And Maintained Using Tools Such As Jira And Selenium.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Functional Testing To Enhance Both Efficiency And Effectiveness Across Projects.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Functional Test Cases And Automated Test Scripts Using Selenium And Junit, Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards And Minimizing The Risk Of Defects In Production.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Use Of The Testing Framework And Best Practices In Functional Testing, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Team Productivity.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Functional Testing Methodologies And Practices.
2. Proficiency In Using Test Management Tools Like Jira And Automated Testing Tools Such As Selenium.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) And Quality Assurance Processes.
4. Excellent Skills In Mentoring And Guiding Team Members To Improve Their Technical Skills.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Istqb Certified Tester (Advanced Level) And Certified Software Test Professional (Cstp).
