Job Summary:
Global Indian International School (GIIS) is looking for a creative and proactive Communication & Content Executive to develop engaging content that showcases the school's academic excellence, student achievements, campus activities, and events. The role involves content creation, digital communication, social media coordination, and collaboration with academic, admissions, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for social media, website, newsletters, brochures, blogs, and marketing materials.
- Capture and develop stories around student achievements, classroom activities, projects, events, and campus life.
- Coordinate with teachers and academic teams to identify relevant stories and content opportunities.
- Work with the central marketing/social media team to ensure timely content submission as per the content calendar.
- Support social media communication and respond to queries professionally.
- Ensure communication and content are aligned with brand guidelines.
- Support content creation during school events, celebrations, and promotional activities.
- Assist the admissions team with content that supports parent engagement and school visibility.
- Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage multiple content deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, PR, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, communications, digital marketing, branding, or social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling ability.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital content trends.
- Strong proofreading, editing, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic content creation tools.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage deadlines effectively.
