Job Description
The Account Manager (Account Management) will be responsible for onboarding new clients and strengthening relationships with existing ones through a solution-driven approach. He/She will work towards achieving revenue targets and play a key role in expanding the customer base in the ‘mid and small’ market segments. The role also involves being a process champion and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Day-to-Day Work:
Sales Pipeline building
- Manage B2B business by converting inbound leads to clients and new business development.
- Work towards retaining existing clients and expanding the share of wallet
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and add new brands
- Understand client requirements and provide data-led media planning approaches and solutions
- Manage a pipeline ensuring consistent and measurable growth toward meeting the revenue target
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand current trends, offers, and best practices which can then be shared with existing and potential clients
Online and other forms of research to identify and onboard potential advertisers
Campaign Management
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, ensure timely collections.
Reporting and collecting feedback from customers
Relationship Management
- Manage and build a strong working relationship with the Key Accounts & keeping them engaged
Work closely with the central team on process adoption and improvement areas
Must-Have:
3 - 6 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in B2B; onboarding new clients (B2B segment)
Experience in actively managing a sales funnel
Experience in handling /managing at least 8 -10 accounts at any given time
Analytical skill - understanding data & dashboards; adept at Excel/Google Sheets
Good to have:
Experience with Media selling
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide the right solution to customers and support the team in getting things done
Soft Skills required
Good communication: Good verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Collaboration and Relationship Building: Ability to collaborate across departments internally and build strong, lasting relationships with external partners.
