Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to design aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor and indoor green spaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of landscape planning, plant selection, hardscape design, and site execution while working closely with clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design residential, commercial, and institutional landscape projects.
- Prepare landscape concepts, layouts, planting plans, and detailed drawings.
- Create 2D and 3D landscape presentations using design software.
- Select suitable plants, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and ornamental species based on site conditions.
- Design hardscape elements such as pathways, pergolas, water features, seating areas, and lighting.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and site analysis.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, civil engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material specifications.
- Supervise landscape installation and ensure quality execution.
- Provide guidance on irrigation systems, drainage, and plant maintenance.
- Stay updated on landscape trends, sustainable practices, and new plant varieties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in landscape design (Freshers with an excellent portfolio may also apply).
- Knowledge of ornamental plants, trees, shrubs, and landscape materials.
- Understanding of irrigation systems and landscape construction.
