Job Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming raw materials (RM) and collect samples as per sampling procedures.
- Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials according to approved specifications and SOPs.
- Conduct analysis such as pH, viscosity, moisture, density/specific gravity, assay, purity, acid value, alkalinity, chloride, sulphate, and other product-specific parameters.
- Operate laboratory instruments such as pH meter, Karl Fischer, viscometer, UV-Vis, titration equipment, moisture analyzer, density meter, and other analytical instruments as applicable.
- Compare test results with approved specifications and prepare RM test reports/COAs.
- Identify and report OOS/OOT results and assist in investigations.
- Maintain laboratory records, logbooks, worksheets, sample registers, and test reports.
- Ensure proper calibration, verification, cleaning, and maintenance of QC laboratory instruments.
- Verify supplier COA against internal specifications and test critical parameters independently.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production, QA, and suppliers regarding raw-material quality issues.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, retention, and disposal of samples.
- Follow chemical safety, PPE, MSDS/SDS, laboratory safety, and waste-disposal procedures.
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and implementation of quality-system requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S in the QC laboratory.
Qualification
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
