Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be eager to learn practical aspects of financial management, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping entries
- Pass journal entries, prepare ledgers, and assist in trial balance preparation
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Support preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
- Work on GST compliance (data entry, reconciliation, basic return preparation)
- Assist in TDS calculations and return filings
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and supporting records
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: B.Com (Hons.) / M.Com (Freshers can apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and taxation (GST, TDS)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel) preferred
Required Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data handling)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Internship experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
- Exposure to GST portal or income tax portal
