- Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all tasks are executed according to approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure they comply with industry safety codes and project specifications.
- Coordination: Act as a bridge between the senior project manager, labor teams, subcontractors, and vendors to prevent delays.
- Progress Reporting: Document daily site activities, track material consumption, and assist in taking measurements for contractor billing.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols (e.g., PPE usage) to minimize hazards on the construction site.
Core Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading structural and architectural blueprints. Familiarity with software like AutoCAD and MS Excel is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding, on-site environment.
