Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Service Engineer to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales support for rooftop solar systems. The candidate will diagnose technical issues, attend service complaints, ensure system performance, and provide timely support to customers.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of solar systems, electrical troubleshooting, inverter operations, and customer handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer service requests and maintenance visits.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar systems.
- Inspect solar panels, inverters, wiring, earthing, and related components.
- Ensure proper functioning and performance of installed systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and inverter-related issues.
- Identify faults in solar generation and system connectivity.
- Conduct testing and performance checks during service visits.
- Monitor system generation and operational efficiency.
- Ensure systems meet performance standards after servicing.
- Explain service findings and solutions to customers.
- Provide guidance on basic system usage and maintenance. .
- Prepare service reports and update complaint status.
- Capture site photos and technical observations.
- Follow up on pending service activities until closure.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of solar systems and inverter troubleshooting.
- Basic electrical maintenance and testing skills.
- Familiarity with multimeters and electrical tools.
- Problem-solving and technical diagnosis ability.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / ITI in Electrical, EEE, ECE, Electronics, or related field.
- Solar technical experience is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 1 to 5 Years experience in solar service, electrical maintenance, or technical support.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
