About the Role:
UST, a Workday partner company, is looking for a Workday Talent, Learning & HCM Lead responsible for driving the design, configuration, deployment, and optimization of Workday Talent, Learning, and Core HCM modules.
This role partners with HR, Talent Management, Learning & Development (L&D), and technical teams to deliver scalable and strategic solutions that enhance employee development, performance management, and end-to-end HR processes.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of Workday functional experience, 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Talent & Learning, and holds an active Workday Talent certification.
The Opportunity and Responsibilities:
Own functional design and configuration for:
- Talent Management (Goals, Performance, Succession, Talent Reviews, Skills, Career & Development Planning)
- Workday Learning (Courses, Programs, Campaigns, Compliance Learning)
Lead all phases of Workday Talent & Learning projects:
- Requirements workshops
- Fit-gap analysis
- Solution design
- Configuration
- Testing (SIT/UAT)
- Cutover
- Post go-live stabilization
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM foundations:
- Organizations, Job Architecture, Positions, Staffing
- Business Processes and Security
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to design:
- Career frameworks
- Skills models
- Development journeys using Workday Skills Cloud
- Personalized learning recommendations
Work with integration teams to:
- Connect Workday with external LMS/content providers
- Integrate performance tools, recruiting systems, and analytics platforms
- Validate data flows and troubleshoot issues
Drive release management and new feature adoption:
- Impact analysis
- Configuration updates
- Regression testing
Develop and maintain:
- Reports and dashboards
- Talent metrics and workforce development insights
- Learning compliance tracking
Lead and mentor junior Workday consultants/analysts:
- Review configuration and testing deliverables
- Promote best practices and standards
Solution Design & Configuration:
Lead end-to-end design and configuration of Workday Talent & Learning modules, including:
- Talent Reviews and Performance Reviews
- Goal Management
- Learning Program Management (Courses, Curriculum, Delivery Methods)
- Skills Cloud and Career Development
- Succession Planning and Talent Pools
- HCM foundational structures and business processes
Configure:
- Security frameworks
- Business processes
- Calculated fields
- Reports and dashboards
- Integration touchpoints
Evaluate new Workday functionality and recommend adoption aligned with best practices
What you need:
8+ years of Workday functional experience, including Core HCM and related modules
4+ years of hands-on configuration and support experience in Workday Talent & Learning
Active Workday Talent Certification (mandatory)
Strong expertise in:
- Talent & Performance Management
- Succession Planning
- Workday Learning
- Skills Cloud
- HCM business processes
Experience with:
- Workday reporting and dashboards
- Calculated fields
- Security configuration
Proven ability to:
- Lead functional workstreams
- Manage cross-functional initiatives
