Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for building projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning during project initiation.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Manage procurement processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget performance.
- Prepare and assess interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Negotiate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress and provide regular commercial reports to management.
- Ensure all claims, change orders, and disputes are properly documented and resolved.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors and commercial staff.
- Support project managers in achieving financial and project objectives.

Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 6+ years of experience in building construction projects.
- Professional certifications such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent are often preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
