Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Head of Product Engineering to lead our engineering organization and drive technology strategy, product delivery, and engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large engineering teams, building high-performing leaders, and delivering scalable enterprise software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams comprising 30+ developers across multiple product teams.
- Mentor and guide Technical Managers and Engineering Leads.
- Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business and product goals.
- Build a strong engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Drive engineering process improvements, delivery excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Establish engineering KPIs and monitor delivery performance.
- Oversee hiring, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Customer Success, and Business Leadership.
- Review architecture, identify technical debt, and ensure scalability of enterprise applications.
- Improve release management, development practices, and engineering standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 14–20 years of experience in software engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience leading engineering managers or multiple development teams.
- Proven experience managing engineering organizations of 25+ members.
- Strong background in enterprise software or B2B SaaS product development.
- Experience building engineering teams, processes, and leadership capabilities.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, engineering metrics, and delivery management.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Manufacturing, ERP, Supply Chain, or Industrial Software domains.
- Exposure to engineering transformation initiatives.
- Experience in leadership roles such as Director of Engineering, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering.
- Knowledge of Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, Observability, and Solution Architecture.
Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
