We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and DevOps/Cloud engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of complex automation projects, ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and optimized for continuous integration and delivery.
Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional engineering teams in the design, development, and deployment of cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation projects.
Agile Delivery: Manage project lifecycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Technical Roadmapping: Collaborate with Cloud Architects and DevOps leads to define technical roadmaps. Translate complex technical requirements (e.g., Kubernetes orchestration, AWS scaling, CI/CD pipeline automation) into actionable project milestones.
Stakeholder & Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and business stakeholders. Provide clear, accurate visibility into project progress, risks, and resource utilization.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical and operational roadblocks. Develop contingency plans for critical infrastructure rollouts to ensure zero or minimal downtime.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all automated workflows, monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch), and deployment pipelines adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
While you will not be writing code daily, a deep foundational understanding of the following technologies is required to effectively manage this team:
Cloud Platforms: Strong architectural understanding of AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, EKS, etc.).
Containerization & Orchestration: Solid grasp of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Understanding of provisioning tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience managing projects that involve setting up robust observability using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 3+ years specifically managing Cloud, Infrastructure, or DevOps projects.
Methodology: Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
Tools: High proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and standard project management software.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate highly technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business requirements to engineering teams.
Familiarity with emerging cloud support paradigms, including autonomous remediation workflows and self-healing cloud infrastructure architectures.
Experience managing enterprise-level data or workload migrations.
Relevant certifications: PMP, CSM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Experience driving client-facing solution delivery within enterprise IT environments.
