THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of its global transformation, Prudential Financial is establishing PFI Innovation Center India as a strategic capability hub to drive its next generation of a global talent footprint, workforce strategy, and enterprise capabilities.
PFI Innovation Center India is envisioned to be set up as a scaled, multi-functional Innovation Center supporting its U.S. business and other geographies across technology, business operations and advanced CoEs / capabilities including AI/GenAI, Data Engineering and Cybersecurity.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Transition and Service Integration Leader to establish and lead the Transition and Service Integration Office (TSIO) for PFI Innovation Center India. The leader will be responsible for defining and leading the end-to-end transition strategy for business, technology and corporate functions migrating from global headquarters locations and/or vendor partners into PFI Innovation Center India. In addition, the leader will establish the enterprise service integration capability, including governance frameworks, vendor management, KPI/SLA governance, and operating models that enable seamless collaboration across internal teams and strategic vendors across US, India, and Japan.
The leader will establish governance frameworks, provide strategic oversight across multiple transition and service integration programs and build a scalable capability that supports the continued growth of the Innovation Center.
The Transition and Service Integration Leader will partner closely with global business leaders, Global Sourcing and Procurement, HR, Technology and Operations leaders to align transition and service integration priorities with enterprise objectives, drive executive decision-making and ensure successful transition outcomes while maintaining business continuity, service quality, and delivery excellence.
The leader will serve as the executive owner for all transition and service integration activities and will be responsible for institutionalizing transition methodologies, governance frameworks, service integration standards, and best practices while developing a high-performing Transition and Service Integration Office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transition Strategy & Governance

Define the enterprise transition strategy aligned to Prudential's global operating model, workforce strategy and long-term business objectives

Develop the enterprise transition roadmap, including prioritization, sequencing and migration approach across business, technology and corporate functions

Establish and lead the Transition and Service Integration Office (TSIO), including governance frameworks, stage-gate criteria, risk management, change management, decision forums, executive reporting protocols, and service governance

Define transition principles, governance standards and success measures to ensure consistent execution across all transition programs

Partner with global business leaders to align transition priorities with enterprise workforce and operating model strategy

Ensure buy-in from business stakeholders and enablement workstream leaders

Establish governance mechanisms to proactively identify, manage and resolve enterprise risks, dependencies and strategic issues
Executive Oversight for Transition Delivery

Provide executive oversight across multiple transition programs from planning through stabilization while delegating day-to-day execution to Transition Managers

Review transition readiness, program health, enterprise risks, interdependencies and critical escalations at key governance milestones, providing strategic direction and enabling informed executive decision-making

Establish and monitor enterprise transition KPIs, governance metrics and executive dashboards to measure transition performance, business outcomes and organizational maturity

Ensure successful delivery of transition objectives while balancing cost, quality, risk and business continuity outcomes.

Provide strategic intervention to resolve critical transition risks, enterprise dependencies and executive escalations that may impact transition outcomes
Service Integration and Vendor Governance

Develop baseline KPIs and SLAs aligned to the US BUs/CFs and the Japan Group to drive consistent service performance and operational excellence

Lead IT Governance and Delivery Framework design and implementation, establishing governance structures and operating models that support global consistency, scalability, and enterprise objectives

Align service integration with enterprise IT target operating and capability models, enabling vendor integration, sustainable growth, and seamless delivery across internal teams and strategic partners

Collaborate with Global Sourcing & Procurement to drive vendor governance strategies across the US, India, and the Japan Group, ensuring alignment, accountability, and delivery outcomes

Lead service integration and organizational readiness activities required to enable successful transition outcomes and seamless steady-state operations

Drive executive service governance through performance management, operational reviews, continual improvement, and cross-functional collaboration

Ensure continual finance alignment by partnering with Finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning across transition and service integration initiatives
Stakeholder & Executive Advisory

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Country Head and senior global stakeholders on transition and service integration strategy, governance maturity, vendor performance, and operational excellence, providing structured insights, risk perspectives, and decision frameworks

Influence executive decision-making through structured insights, transition and service integration recommendations, governance reporting, and data-driven performance analytics

Lead executive governance and service review forums, providing strategic recommendations on transition readiness, SLA/KPI performance, operational risks, vendor effectiveness, and business outcomes

Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, Global Sourcing and Procurement, HR, Technology and Operations leaders

Challenge assumptions and guide course corrections to ensure delivery of targeted cost, control, capability, and continuity outcomes

Drive alignment across global and local stakeholders to ensure seamless transition execution and integrated service delivery across the U.S., India, the Japan Group, and strategic partners

Develop approach and methodology to drive organizational change across different locations
Service Excellence & Capability Building

Establish a scalable Transition and Service Integration Office that supports the Innovation Center's long-term growth and evolving business priorities

Build, mentor and lead a high-performing Transition and Service Integration Office, including Transition Managers and supporting resources

Build and institutionalize repeatable transition methodologies, service integration frameworks, governance standards, KPI/SLA models, templates, and playbooks to enable consistent execution across future transitions and steady-state operations

Drive organizational capability through coaching, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and adoption of best practices

Embed lessons learned, transition metrics, and service performance insights into standardized governance processes to continuously improve enterprise maturity

Drive continuous improvement across transition and operational service delivery by embedding governance maturity assessments, vendor performance reviews, lessons learned, and best practices

Experience: 20+ years of total work experience with 15+ years of experience in transition management, service integration, IT governance, vendor governance, program delivery, outsourcing, GCC/shared services setup or transformation roles within enterprises, consulting firms or global systems integrators. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
Preference for candidates with experience working across global markets such as the US, Europe and APAC along with exposure in setting up GCC/shared services, outsourcing programs with Tier 1 third party players

- Transition strategy & program leadership: Proven experience establishing and leading enterprise transition capabilities supporting large-scale global organizations, with demonstrated success leading complex transition programs across all phases including due diligence, planning, knowledge transfer, migration, go-live, stabilization and operational handover
- Service Integration & Governance: Proven experience leading IT Governance, Vendor Governance, Service Integration, or Delivery Governance functions, with expertise in developing KPI/SLA frameworks, governance operating models, executive dashboards, and performance management across complex multi-vendor environments
- Global delivery & outsourcing expertise: Strong understanding of global delivery models across technology, operations, infrastructure, applications development & maintenance, BPO and shared services environments
- Executive Stakeholder management: Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, vendors and cross-functional teams while influencing strategic decisions and driving organizational alignment
- Strategic communication & executive presence: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex operational and technical concepts in a structured, concise and impactful manner to executive stakeholders
- People Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven success leading high-performing teams within matrixed and cross-cultural organizations, with the ability to coach leaders, influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across business, technology and operations functions
