UI/UX Design Intern (3–6 Months)

About the Role
Origa Networks is looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX Design Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world web and mobile application projects while learning industry-standard design practices.
As a UI/UX Intern, you will collaborate with developers, project managers, and senior designers to create engaging, user-friendly digital experiences. You will gain hands-on exposure to the complete product design lifecycle, from research and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design.
Candidates who successfully complete the internship and demonstrate strong performance will be considered for a full-time position at Origa Networks.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Participate in user research and analyze user feedback.
- Contribute to design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
- Maintain visual consistency across products and client projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
- Improve existing interfaces based on usability findings and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Figma (mandatory).
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user flows.
- Good knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to accept feedback and continuously improve designs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio showcasing academic, personal, or freelance design projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Figma Auto Layout, Components, and Design Systems.
- Knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of usability testing and accessibility principles.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage.
- Experience creating social media creatives or marketing assets is a plus.
